Hello
Welcome to onexamination.com's blog page! Times are a changing at onexamination.com and we wanted to let everyone know what's going on. We are introducing a technological playground at the moment called OE labs. You can find it here: labs.onexamination.com
Basically we are coming up with new ideas to help make your medical professional life easier. We already provide online learning for you - if there are exams you need to prepare for we offer a variety of revision courses to help you pass - you can see them here www.onexamination.com. Now we are implementing some new lifestyle features to improve you everyday medical life.
Our first project is our 'med news review' feature. The IT guys at OE have come up with a way of collecting all the relevant and interesting medical news from across the web and centralised it in one place for you to keep up to date. You can then vote on which news stories you found useful and influence what becomes the top stories. Comments can also be made, so everyone in the community can see what you think.
We are trying to cater for our customers and make your lives easier. If there is a feature that you feel would be useful, send us a message and let us know! You can either do that on the labs.onexamination.com website or you can email at either oelabs@gmail.com or me personally at ben.fawkes@onexamination.com.
So feel free to go have a play at the labs site and let us know what you think. We look forward to hearing from you.

nice. I think it's a great concept. there's so much room for improvement in the field of medical education. I'm gonna take a look and if I like it, I'll definitely review it on my blog.
goodalucka!
Thanks angry medic - nice one!
Dear Ben...
It is a nice thing to see such an effort that provides a collection of medical articles and news that were published recently in medical journals. Every few days, i surf the lab to see what is new, as it is a quick and simple way to browse a large no. of journals.
1-I would suggest adding the article's abstract or a short paragraph to have a quick look in the same web page .
2-I don't know what is the idea of voting for the articles. If you please elaborate regarding this issue?
3- I hope that the future MRCP UK/ MRCP Ireland candidates will read articles and medical reviews to help them study, rather than going through best of fives and mcqs ONLY.
4- I hope that this service will not be converted to a subscribed one in the near future!
Best wishes...

Dr. O Amin,
thank you for your comments - you'll be pleased to hear that the news review feature is free of charge - you won't have to spend a penny to keep up to date. As for the voting - basically it's a great way for you and the rest of the community to determine which articles are the most important and relevant. BY voting you push that article to the top of the news page so that other may see it and click on it. As the medical profession is extremely busy - you may not have time to read all our articles so choosing articles based on it's popularity may be a time efficient way for you to keep updated.
What do you think?
Well thanks again for your comments
Ben
Thanks for the reply, i think it is a good idea. Best wishes from us.
Amin
