Vote Vote Vote!
Hello, well we are in the process of inviting everybody to check out OE labs now and we are getting an amazing response. So thank you to everyone that has replied to my emails or comments on their blog pages.
One thing we have noticed so far is the lack of people actually voting on the news they are reading (and liking). So we were wondering, do you guys know what the vote system is all about? Why would you use it?
The voting system is there for you to influence which articles get pushed to the top of the popular news page. The more votes an article has, the higher up the list it goes. This helps other users see what the community has been reading and will perhaps influence what they spend their time looking at. If fellow medical professionals think it's good then perhaps you will too. Our news harvester is here to help you get up to speed with current medical affairs quickly, as is the voting system.
It works by clicking the 'vote' button which sits on the left hand side of the news link. Once you have clicked it, it turns a lovely yellow colour and your vote is logged. You can only vote once, but every vote counts! So please have a go!
Ben
